1. WHAT ARE COOKIES

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember things like your login session and your preferences.

2. HOW ARKODA USES COOKIES

Arkoda uses only essential cookies. We do not run third-party advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or social media beacons.

Specifically:

  • Authentication cookies: keep you signed in across pages and visits.
  • Stripe checkout cookies: required by Stripe to securely process payments. These are set by Stripe directly during checkout. See Stripe's privacy notice at stripe.com/privacy.
  • Cloudflare security cookies: used for bot protection and DDoS mitigation. Set automatically by our infrastructure provider.
3. THIRD-PARTY COOKIES

We do not run third-party advertising or tracking cookies on arkoda.app. We do not use Meta Pixel, Google Analytics client-side tracking, TikTok Pixel, or similar.

If we add any third-party tracking in the future, we will update this policy and prompt for new consent through our cookie banner.

4. ANALYTICS

We use Mixpanel for product analytics, configured to anonymize IP addresses and not set persistent identifying cookies. Aggregate usage data only.

We may add server-side analytics integrations (such as Meta Conversion API or Google Analytics Measurement Protocol) in the future. These do not require browser cookies because they operate server-to-server. Any such future integrations will be disclosed in this policy.

5. YOUR CHOICES

You can manage cookie preferences via our cookie consent banner (shown on first visit, accessible via the "Manage preferences" button at the bottom of any page).

Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies through browser settings. Note: blocking essential cookies will break login and checkout.

6. DO NOT TRACK

Arkoda honors Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals where supported. We do not track you for advertising purposes regardless of DNT status.

7. CHANGES

We will update this policy as our cookie usage changes. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
